Vera Bradley Pocket Papers GIVEAWAY!

I don't know about the rest of you (those bloggers among you, that is) but I always seem to come up with my cleverest ideas and my most articulate thoughts when I am nowhere near my computer.  Usually it's when I'm behind the wheel of my car. 

I find myself scrounging for a scrap of paper or a discarded receipt upon which to record my brainchild before it flies out of my mind, never to be seen or heard from again.  Fortunately for me, to say that I do not keep a pristine car would be an understatement of epic proportions, so I can usually come up with something useful upon which to scribble.  But that's certainly not an ideal situation.

Then one day, the proverbial light bulb went on, and it occurred to me that I should carry in my purse a small notepad so that when I come up with a brilliant idea or that perfect turn of phrase, I have a safe place to write it down.  I know, DUH!  But I'm sometimes a bit slow on the uptake. 

All that to say, I kept meaning pick up a little steno pad.  But I never did.

Then!  When I was at the mall last weekend, browsing the new Vera Bradley fall patterns, I came across these adorable little notepads, especially designed to fit in your pocketbook! 

And a mysterious light dawned, and I was heralded with singing from above, and I knew this was the PERFECT item for the Dog Days of Summer Bloggy Giveaway!  I mean, what blogger wouldn't love a cute little notepad like this to carry with them for those moments of brilliance!?  I know I sure could use one.

I quickly snagged two (I had to have one for myself, of course!) and skipped to the register to make my purchase.  Oh, and I might possibly have made one other small, insignificant purchase as well, but that's all I'm sayin'.
